Frontiers Planet Prize 2023!

An article in PNAS led by TREcoL post-doc João Campos-Silva and Prof Carlos A. Peres (UEA Norwich, UK) was awarded the Frontiers Planet Prize 2023 on Thursday in Montreux, Switzerland!

The Frontiers Planet Prize celebrates groundbreaking achievements in sustainability science. The contest involved 233 universities across six continents and the winners were selected from a set of 20 national champions. Prof. Peres received the prize on stage as a result of the article becoming UK National Champion. Chaired by Prof. Johan Rockström, the winners were selected by a diverse panel of 100 eminent scientists in environmental sciences across the world.
