TREcoL post-doc João V. Campos-Silva leads on a new article investigating the social consequences of living

either inside or outside sustainable-use PAs in the Brazilian Amazon. Results show highly positive social outcomes linked to biodiversity protection efforts, providing optimism and a rare positive outlook on the future of protected areas in many developing countries. Access the paper here.
